Artifact: Course Reflection
Reflection:
Through out the Instructional Technology program, I wrote reflections on each course discussing my likes, what I benefitted from and what I learned in the course. One of my favorite courses was my ITEC 7481 course with Dr. Larkin. In this course I learned how to take a unit from my class and turn it into a blended course using a LMS (Learning Management System). In my reflection I was able to express my joy and benefits to creating the online course and I was able to express what I learned overall in the course for others in the program, other professors and those who want to read to see.
The blogs on my Weebly site show mastery of the standard, because it allowed me to reflect on the artifacts and experiences throughout the Instructional Technology program. Completing the blogs showed my understanding of completing reflections that showed understanding and modeling of learning experiences.
The blogs allowed me to strengthen my online communication skills and learn/ practice effectively placing my thoughts in ideas on the internet for other professionals to see. If I could change one thing about completing the blogs, I would not wait until the end of a semester to complete my reflection. I would have created more and in-depth blogs throughout the semester for other professionals to see.
This artifact impacted student learning for me as an Instructional Technology student. It made me reflect on the lessons, materials, and experiences that I have had through out my M Ed. Experience. It gave me a chance to think about how the experiences I have had in each course not only build off of each other ,but also help me grow as a technology leader, future Technology coach and/or online educator.
